About Kingsview

Kingsview Homes has been a part of Fort Greene since 1953. Founded as a limited equity cooperative, part of a massive urban renewal project including several residential communities, Long Island University, and the Brooklyn Hospital Center, Kingsview converted to market sales in 2005.

Unlike some co-ops which began as rental properties and still have many renters, Kingsview has always been 100% owner-occupied. Our 292 apartments are distributed among five mid-century modern brick buildings. Almost every apartment is on a corner, allowing for cross ventilation and views in two directions.

Kingsview’s grounds get more beautiful every year, with flowering trees, hedges, and planters in front of every building. Our parking is at the perimeter of the property, so each building looks onto our green courtyard.
